.......a question for you.Hi everyone
.....Firstly a big hello to all our members old and new. Thankyou for submitting your beautiful, creative and tasty works of art.
.....a question for you.
Have you/do you air-brush cakes?
If so, what make of air-brush would you advise for a beginner?
Would you recommend classes or tutorials/books for anyone who wants to learn?
"I do airbrushing i would suggest the sugarcraft airbrush from the craft company online it is £99.99
but is great as it comes with 3 colours 1 cleaner ect and a dvd which makes it really simple"

"I have just finally got myself airbrushing stuff for my cakes. I've not yet tried anything complex but more just to colour a full cake. I got my airbrush machine in LIDL when it was £40 so its not a super expensive one or anything. I got the gun part on amazon since the one I got with the machine was more for painting models and I wanted one with a different setup. I got the food colouring off amazon too."
Stephanie also sent links to all the items she uses if anyone is interested
"I have added details with an airbrush to some cakes. I have heard of a class in the city I live in, Santiago, Chile, from a place called Lab Stencil. They have a professional airbrush artist teach you how to use it. I have not taken that class but it looks interesting"
Not all cakes featured here have been air-brushed, but worth a look-see if you haven't already
